The JCI Academy is a leadership training program hosted by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Japan. Each year, representatives from Junior Chambers worldwide—leaders who are set to become their respective national presidents the following year—gather in Japan to undergo intensive training to become globally active leaders.
During the six-night, seven-day program, participants engage in discussions, tackle challenges together, and share experiences—akin to “eating from the same pot of rice.” This immersive environment fosters deep friendships among future leaders from around the world, with the ultimate goal of promoting sustainable development and world peace beyond the boundaries of their own regions and countries.
The JCI Academy is held annually in Japan, and in 2025—its 38th year—it will take place in Saitama. In addition to leadership training, the program includes cultural immersion experiences such as homestays with local families and opportunities to explore the region’s rich nature, history, and traditions.
This academy also serves as a valuable opportunity for influential individuals from around the world—who will shape the future of politics and the economy—to experience and develop a deep appreciation for Saitama, making them lifelong supporters of the region.
