About JCI Academy
JCIアカデミーとは
JCIアカデミーとは、公益社団法人日本青年会議所が主催する、各国の青年会議所の代表 (翌年トップになる予定の人)が日本に集まり、国際レベルで活躍するリーダーとなるための トレーニングを行う事業です。
議論を交わし、共に試練を乗り越え、いわば「同じ釜の飯を食う」生活を6泊7日にわたって続けることで、世界中の「明日のリーダー」同士が友情を深め、「自分の地域や国」に留まらない発展や世界平和を確立することを目的としています。
このJCIアカデミーは、毎年日本で開催されます。38年目となる2025年の開催地は、埼玉。
JCIアカデミーでは、上記のような「トレーニング」とは別に、一般家庭へのホームステイや地元の自然や歴史、文化に触れるといったイベントも行われます。
世界中から集まる、その国の政治や経済に大きな影響力を有する人々に、埼玉を好きになっていただき、埼玉のファンになってもらう絶好の機会でもあるのです。

During the six-night, seven-day program, participants engage in discussions, tackle challenges together, and share experiences—akin to “eating from the same pot of rice.” This immersive environment fosters deep friendships among future leaders from around the world, with the ultimate goal of promoting sustainable development and world peace beyond the boundaries of their own regions and countries.
The JCI Academy is held annually in Japan, and in 2025—its 38th year—it will take place in Saitama. In addition to leadership training, the program includes cultural immersion experiences such as homestays with local families and opportunities to explore the region’s rich nature, history, and traditions.
This academy also serves as a valuable opportunity for influential individuals from around the world—who will shape the future of politics and the economy—to experience and develop a deep appreciation for Saitama, making them lifelong supporters of the region.
